This project involved taking a once loved garden in a neglected state and turning it into a lovely, usable family space.
Large shrubs worth saving were pruned and a design evolved around a new paved terrace by the house linked with paths to three other seating areas to catch the sun at different times of day. The front also needed to be transformed from a shady scruffy lawn to a cottage style planting that captured the essence of a rural retreat in keeping with the character of the house.

“It’s been so rewarding to see this garden develop. There’s now a seasonal succession of colour and interest.”
“The newly planted trees are doing well and will add to the character for years to come. More photos to follow.”
