Designing a garden starts with imagination and ideas, combined with key practical knowledge. Initially, a first meeting is arranged at no obligation to talk through possibilities whilst taking a look at the garden.
Our first meeting is followed soon after by a general site survey and another meeting to gather more information about your preferences. With the survey and a clear design brief we can start work on a design concept, which with further input will fit your needs as near exactly as possible.
A comprehensive design plan is developed from the design concept, including all the elements to be incorporated into your new garden, drawn to scale and in colour. Perspective drawings and section drawings can be produced to accompany the plan, and a ‘mood board’ to give the look and feel of the different elements of the design.
Planting plans are developed with your preferences in mind for colour, form and level of maintenance. With the right plants chosen for the soil and aspect of your garden. Read more about planting design…
From design to build. Some people prefer to organise a contractor for their project themselves. Some prefer to hand it over and let us oversee the build for them. We work with quality contractors, some being BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) registered. Additionally, for specially made features, we have contacts with skilled local craftspeople.
A Greenspace designer will help you with:
- Visualising a new garden design in detail
- Using your budget more cost effectively
- Transforming difficult aspects and areas
